The eThekwini Municipality in partnership with The Startup Tribe presents the Durban Entrepreneurship Academy which is a free, zero subscriptions and free of ads Online learning platform that is available to all Durban residents and accessible to anyone online. The Online learning platform offers free courses that will help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses, as well as improve the quality of their lives.

Why Does it Matter?

• This Entrepreneurship Academy important because it will equip many youth entrepreneurs in Durban with practical skills not just theory and this will help them take their business to the next level.
• On the Learning Platform you will find courses like, ‘How to find your first 10 customers‘, ‘How to scale your business‘ and ‘How to get access to financing‘. These courses will give entrepreneurs practical solutions that they can immediately apply to their business.
• By offering courses for free, with no hidden costs, ads, or subscription, the eThekwini Municipality is removing financial barriers that prevent many aspiring entrepreneurs from upskilling.
